How this works
Every page's content is scaled to fit the target dimensions, and the page size itself is changed to match — useful when combining pages of different sizes into one consistent document, or preparing a file for a printer that expects a specific paper size.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing distort the content?
Content is scaled proportionally to fit the new dimensions, so text and images stay in proportion — very different original aspect ratios may still show some letterboxing or cropping compared to the target size.
What does "pt" mean for custom sizes?
Points are the standard unit PDFs use for page dimensions — 72 points equal 1 inch. A4 is roughly 595 × 842 points, and US Letter is 612 × 792 points.
